Why do we do wedding videography?
Passion, self-pride, recording memories, yes, all valid and buzz marketing words. However, the bride has been planning your wedding since she was about 12, thinking through every detail for her fairy-tale day, but much of this detail will be either missed or disturbed before the bride gets to see it. Our role is to ensure the bride gets to see these details in the video, and this is a massive chuck to why we love doing wedding videography.
Delivery of a video that the couple, the families, guests and those who could not make it can view and share; remember, the day is why we get up in the morning. There we said it!

What would you expect to be filmed on your wedding day?
We would turn up four hours before the wedding started, either at the venue or where the bride was, capturing essential moments (we can arrange for another videographer to capture the groom). As standard, you can expect the following.

Is recording a marriage a serious affair where every picture is perfect, or is there a more diverse approach where the video shows the real-life side where Aunt Margo pulls a face, or Uncle Richard spills the wine, creating the memory of the day? Of course, these events may not happen, or we don’t see them, but the value of a good wedding video is to laugh, cry, remember, cherish and relive the day. Do you agree?

Whether you're a new visitor or a regular user, this section is designed to address your queries and enhance your experience with us.
Yes, we absolutely do. We have editing panels to enhance the workflow, working mainly with Davinci Resolve Studio.
For weddings we travel light and try to contain all equipment to our vehicle, the reasoning for this is down to the wedding photographer does not want to be limited to photos because of our equipment in the background (like tripods, video cameras, generators etc.). When we are shooting on a film set then we allow for 1 hour to get the gazebo, generator, computers, screens and battery banks to be setup and follow health and safety rules.
Yes, we use Hiscock EC 785/2004-compliant commercial drone insurance, with 10 million public liability insurance. Hiscock to date was the only supplier of drone insurance which allows you to fly commercially.
826Raw are member of Drone Safe, which means we have had to undergo certain checks to prove we follow the law. Also a client is free to ask that we supply a copy of our Public Liability Insurance. We log all flights, speed, and always display our operators number on all drones, which can be looked up on the CAA website. As for reputation, this comes with experience and customer testimonials as there is no certificate for being good at what you do.
There are many rules surrounding drones, as we are a commercial company the rules exclude recreational flights and hobbyists. Meaning you need to have commercial insurance, certificates for flying drone, perform risk assessments, ensure that there is a site survey and signage to make people aware a drone is flying in the area. Each intended flight is also required to be listed publicly before the flight takes place.
